ANTHONY "MIC" McCLAREN is one of approximately 1000 people on the planet who has completed the “7 Summits” challenge.  This challenge requires a person to climb to the top of the highest mountain on every continent.  Anthony completed the task in 2 years and 10 days, and did so either self-guided, or solo, on a shoestring budget, and did so to honor the memory of his late Father, who died from Parkinson’s disease when he was 59.

Anthony has turned the challenge into a non-profit organization, “Climb Above Parkinson’s”, where proceeds go directly to USC Keck School of Neurology, for research into defeating Parkinson’s Disease and other neuro-degenerative diseases.  Anthony also authored and through Black Pawn Press published a book, “Seven Summits for Dad”, which fully expands on the challenges of the endeavor, as well as overcoming mental health challenges and other difficulties.

When he is not training to climb, Anthony is the managing partner of Perleberg McClaren LLP, an employment and intellectual property law firm.

We look forward to seeing you there!
