KATI SUOMINEN is Founder and CEO of Nextrade Group, a Los Angeles-based data and analytics company that helps governments, multilateral development banks, and Fortune 500s enable international trade through technology. She has ideated and built countless data and analytics products to dissect and solve challenges to world trade and digitization, and ideated and built seven global initiatives and public-private partnerships to further ecommerce development and digitization of world trade with the world's leading ecommerce, payments, logistics, tech companies and such entities as U.S. Agency for International Development, United Nations, Asian Development Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank. She is the author and editor of 10 peer-reviewed books on trade and globalization, most recently Revolutionizing World Trade: How Disruptive Technologies Open Opportunities for All (Stanford University Press, 2019). Kati also serves as Adjunct Fellow at the Washington think-tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she co-founded the Digital Trade program, and Adjunct Professor at the UCLA Anderson School, where she teaches MBA courses on international business economics and global digital disruption. She holds a B.A. from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, where she played Division I tennis on a full scholarship, Master's from Boston University, MBA from Wharton, and PhD from UC San Diego. She is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and AT member for the fifth year.

We are hosting an event each month at an exclusive location with between 20-25 people . This position will: 1) Work with Head of Steering Committee in coordinating the guest list; 2) Working with Steering Committee to call guest list, send confirmation emails to 20-25 guests per month, personally calling 1-2 days before to remind them of location, the guest, and how many business cards to bring; 3) Coordinating with Steering Committee to make sure Nonprofit host is ready; 4) Coordinating with Venue, confirming number of guests , food/drinks and valet; 5) Sitting at table with guests; 6) A point of contact for the guests.
