Founder & CEO of the data and research firm Nextrade Group that helps multilateral development banks, governments, and Fortune 500s optimize public policies and investments in driving trade and ecommerce worldwide; Founder of TradeUp Capital Fund, first-in-class growth capital platform for globalizing companies; and Founder of Business for eTrade Development, a global coalition of leading ecommerce companies driving ecommerce development. She is the idea-woman behind such global initiatives as eTrade for All, a global multi-donor initiative to accelerate the adoption of ecommerce worldwide now championed by the United Nations, and RTA Exchange, a new global forum on trade agreements sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank and ICTSD. She is also Adjunct Professor at UCLA Anderson School of Management and Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Currently authoring her 10th book on trade. Earlier in her career, she served as Trade Economist at the Inter-American Development Bank. PhD, University of California, San Diego; MBA, Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.
