Track and Field Athlete Now Focused on Civil Litigation!

DAVID TETZLAFF is an experienced attorney in Los Angeles, California, representing clients throughout the state.

The new priority for business operating in California should be avoiding litigation whenever possible through effective business planning, underwriting, and risk analysis. When litigation is necessary, I believe that an attorney is your partner in understanding your business, protecting your specific interests, and working for a solution that best meets your needs. The best resolution may not require taking a case to trial. As an advocate for businesses in Southern California, I strive to become a valued extension of my client’s business team, collaborating at each step, from strategic planning to case management. This partnership includes providing each client the best possible representation, up to and including trial.

Business Litigation: These matters relate to partnership disputes, breach of contract, violation of intellectual property and trade secrets, and unfair competition.

    Westlake Team Meeting

    Guest speaker!

Alexandre Mars is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and author. He began his career as an entrepreneur at 17 by creating a concert organization company at his high school. At 22, he founded A2X, one of the first French web agencies, which he sold in 1998. Alexandre then entered the world of venture capital, operating between the U.S. and France. In 2001, he launched Phonevalley, a mobile marketing agency sold to Publicis six years later. In 2006, he set his sights on the fledgling social media industry and created ScrOOn, which he went on to sell to Blackberry in 2013.

After selling his last two startups and while living in the U.S., Alexandre Mars put his expertise as an entrepreneur to work for social causes. He conducted market research into the philanthropy sector and in 2014 created Epic, a global foundation that identifies, selects, supports, and monitors organizations in order to catalyze their direct action on underserved children and young people, but also on the ecosystems that affect their lives. Epic is based in New York and has offices in Paris, London, Brussels, and San Francisco. In 2019, the Harvard University Kennedy and Business schools published a joint case study on Epic, highlighting the singularity of its model.

Tune in to hear more about his inspiring story. We look forward to seeing you there!
