Adam Sloustcher

Collegiate Soccer Athlete Now Striking for Employment Defense!

I am an employment law attorney at Fisher Phillips in San Diego. I represent local, regional and national employers in a broad range of employment disputes, including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters.

I also represent employers in both individual and class-action lawsuits involving alleged violations of wage & hour laws, as well as claims brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). My experience includes litigating matters in state and federal courts, state administrative tribunals, and in arbitration.

I also assist employers with investigations of alleged harassment, discrimination and other misconduct in the workplace and provide day-to-day preventative advice regarding hiring, discipline and termination practices, leaves of absences, the interactive process and reasonable accommodations, and preparation of employment handbook and personnel policies. My clients include businesses and organizations of all sizes and in many industries, including restaurants, sports, manufacturing, marketing and financial companies, car dealerships, and hospitals.

In addition to litigation and counseling work, I regularly conduct management training and lecture on employment issues. I teach classes about FMLA/CFRA and wage & hour issues for in-house counsel, human resources professionals, and other management personnel and am a guest lecturer for an employment law course at San Diego State University. I'm also an active member of the California Restaurant Association, Sports Lawyers Association, California Minority Counsel Program, and Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego.
