Patty Kerrigan

I consult on the cognitive late-effects of cancer and brain tumor treatments.

Foundation ThinkAgain funds rehabilitation therapies for children severely affected by cancer and brain tumors, which improves their functioning, allowing for more success in the lives we return them to after cancer.

I serve as intervention specialist for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. Prior to this work, I served as a special education teacher for pediatric psychiatric in-patients at both Lurie's Children's Hospital in Chicago, and the Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital at UCLA. My primary interest is in the developmental effects of disease-related acquired brain injury on the ability to learn.
