As an Investment Associate with James Capital Advisors, SCOTT DOERNER serves as a retail investment sales professional, specializing in advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of Single-Tenant Net Leased assets throughout California. Scott provides his expertise to clients through his underwriting and valuation skills as well as his ability to execute transactions in any given circumstance. In addition, Scott places heavy emphasis on guiding his clients in achieving their investment goals through hard work and thorough due diligence review.
Scott graduated in 2006 from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree in International Management and Dispute Resolution. While at Pepperdine, Scott played number 1 for the 2006 National Championship Winning Tennis team where he played John Isner in the final. Scott competed professionally, reaching a career high world ranking of #642 and before joining James Capital Advisors successfully, ran an independent Tennis coaching business out of Santa Monica, CA.
As a native Australian, Scott enjoys spending time at the beach and can regularly be found in Venice Beach on the weekends competing in Pop Tennis. He and his wife, Anna, currently reside in Culver City where they enjoy spending time with friends and family.

We are hosting an event each month at an exclusive location with between 20-25 people . This position will: 1) Work with Head of Steering Committee in coordinating the guest list; 2) Working with Steering Committee to call guest list, send confirmation emails to 20-25 guests per month, personally calling 1-2 days before to remind them of location, the guest, and how many business cards to bring; 3) Coordinating with Steering Committee to make sure Nonprofit host is ready; 4) Coordinating with Venue, confirming number of guests , food/drinks and valet; 5) Sitting at table with guests; 6) A point of contact for the guests.
